Active Ingredients:
- oxiconazole
Indications: Oxiconazole is used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs.
Contraindications and cautions:
Do not use oxiconazole cream if:
- you are allergic to any ingredient in Oxiconazole Cream
- you are taking astemizole or terfenadine
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:
- if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
- if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
Warning!
- Be sure to use Oxiconazole Cream for the full course of treatment. If you do not, the medicine may not clear up your infection completely. The fungus could also become less sensitive to this or other medicines. This could make the infection harder to treat in the future.
- If your symptoms do not get better within 2 to 4 weeks or if they get worse, check with your doctor.
Adverse effects: Medicines and their possible side effects can affect individual people in different ways. Because a side effect is stated here, it does not mean that all people using this medicine will experience that or any side effect.
- itching
- burning
- redness
- dry or flaky skin
- tingling
If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:
- pain
- swelling
- open sores
- skin rash

Especially pay attention to the following drugs:
Anticoagulants (eg, warfarin), H1 antagonists (eg, astemizole, terfenadine), or sulfonylureas (eg, glyburide) because their actions and the risk of their side effects may be increased by Oxiconazole Cream
Additional Information: DO NOT SHARE THIS MEDICINE with others. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE for other health conditions. KEEP THIS PRODUCT, as well as syringes and needles, if needed during treatment, out of the reach of children. Do not reuse needles, syringes, or other materials.
