Drug name: Septolete
Active Ingredients:
Benzalkonium chloride, Levomenhtol, Menthae piperitae oil, Thymol, Eucalypti foliorum oil.
Therapeutic actions: Septolete lozenges treat mild inflammation in the mouth and throat and prevent the formation of more severe infections. Septolete lozenges contain an antiseptic and some natural active principles. Septolete sugar-free lozenges contain sugar substitutes mannitol and maltitol, which do not damage the teeth.
Indications: Septolete lozenges are recommended to adults and children above four years of age
- in the common cold and influenza, as they relieve pain on swallowing and the unpleasant burning sensation
- for the treatment of mild infections of the gums, oral mucosa and throat
- for protection from severer infections of the respiratory tract mucosa
One Septolete lozenge should be dissolved in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours
Contraindications and cautions: Children under 4 years shouldn't take Septolete. Hypersensitivity.
