Active Ingredients: Acid boric and Tanin, Chinosol

Therapeutic actions: Contraceptin-T is a local birth control medication that combines spermicidal, antiseptic as well barrier properties. The contraceptive action is determined by active ingredients of Contaceptin-T: chinosol, acid boric and tanin.
Chinosol exerts the frank spermicidal action. Acid boric possesses antiseptic properties. Tanin causes the coagulation of the mucus proteins forming the unique protective palet.

Indications: The drug may be used for local intravaginal contraception. Any other indications for theis drug need to be discussed with your health care provider.
Contraindications and cautions:

  • You should not use Contraceptin-T in allergy or hypersensitivity to any of Contraceptin-T ingredients.
  • Use Contraceptin-T with caution in pregnancy or breastfeeding

Warning!

  • Use Contraceptin-T vaginal suppositories 10 minutes before sexual intercourse.
  • If you experience burning sensation or itching while taking Conraceptin-T stop using this medication.
