Therapeutic actions: Oftacain is a local anesthetic. It is primarily used to stop the pain in a certain area of the eye. It is applied as drops to prevent or relieve eye pain without systemic administration.
Indications: Eye pain of different genesis.
Contraindications and cautions: Be careful and aware of the possible effects of Oftacain:
- Your vision may be blurred temporally after application. Try not to drive or operate machinery when using the drug.
- If used in prolonged treatment be sure to consult your doctor on cornea damage that might take place.
