Adenosine, Cytochrome, Nicotinamide
Therapeutic actions: Oftan Catachrom is a type of medication that is used to treat cataract before and after surgery. The preparation slows down the development of the cataract and stops the clouding effect on the lens . Oftan-catachrom has over properties except treating cataracts. The preparation possesses anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and lubricationg effect on the eye tissues.
Indications: Treatment of cataracts on the early stages. Can be used before or after surgery to help the eye recover better.
Contraindications and cautions: Should not be used if:
- allergic reaction has ever been registered on the components of the preparation.
- Be sure to remember the following when using the preparation.
- Consult your doctor before using the preparation during pregnancy and lactation.
- The preparation is not used to treat Glaucoma.
- Do not use soft contact lenses due to possible clouding effect and local irritation.
