Active Ingredients:
Idoxuridine
Therapeutic actions: Idoxuridine works as an inhibitor of virus replication thus reducing the ammount of the virus in the organism.
Indications: Oftan idu is used to treat Herpes simplex virus infections.
Contraindications and cautions: Your diagnosis must be 100% positive that you are treating virus infection. Do not treat any fugal or bacterial infections with Oftan idu. Also be sure to consult your doctor on your possible pregnancy or breast-feeding issues.
If your symptoms do not vanish please consult your doctor as soon as possible.
Adverse effects: There are possible side-effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Oftan Idu will experience it or any other.
Some common side-effects may appear when using Oftan Idu eye drops:

- stinging
- blurry vision
- itching
- swelling of the eyelid
