Active Ingredients:
- Acetaminophen
- Acetylsalicylic acid
- Caffeine
Therapeutic actions: Ascofen-p combined preparation that exerts antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect, decreases pain that is caused by an inflammatory process, and moderately inhibits the aggregation of thrombocytes and thrombogenesis, increases microcirculation in the inflammatory tissue. Caffeine increases reflector excitability of the spinal cord, activates respiratory and vasomotor center, dilates blood vessels of the skeletal muscle, brain, heart, kidneys and decreases aggregation of thrombocytes, decreases drowsiness, the feeling of tiredness and increases physical and mental capacity.
Indications: The drug is indicated in treatment of:
- Moderate and light pain syndrome of different genesis
- Headaches
- Migraines
- Neuralgia
- Arthralgia
- Algodismenorrhea
- Fever syndrome in treatment of severe respiratory disease and flu
Contraindications and cautions: The drug should not be used in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
- Erosive-ulcerous disease of the gastrointestinal tract
- Gastrointestinal bleeding
- Aspirin induced asthma
- Haemophilia
- Hemorrhagic diathesis
- Hypoprotrombinemia
- Portal hypertension
- Avitaminosis K
- Renal insufficiency
- Pregnancy
- Lactation period
- Glucose-6 phosphate dehydrogenase
- Severe arterial hypertension
- Coronary heart disease
- Galucoma
- Increased excitability
- Sleep disturbance
- Surgery that is accompanied by bleeding
- In children younger then 15 years old
Should be used with caution in:
- Liver disease
- Gout

- Gastralgia
- Nausea
- Vomiting

- Bronchospasm
In long-term treatment:
- Dizziness
- Headaches
- Vision impairment
- Tinnitus aurium
- Decreased thrombocytes aggregation
- Hypocoagulation
- Hemorrhagic syndrome
- Renal impairment caused by papillary necrosis
- Deafness
- Malign exudative erythema
- Syndrome Reye in children

- Ethanol
