Active Ingredients:

Therapeutic actions:
Citrapar is a combined medications with analgesic and antipyretic properties. Paracetamol exerts analgesic, antipyretic and light anti-inflammatory action. Action mechanism is associated with inhibiting the synthesis of prostoglandins.
Acid acetylsalicylic possesses anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic action and inhibits platelets aggregation as well. Action mechanism is associated with interfering with the activity of COX that is responsible for prostoglandins production. Prostoglandins are responsible for the pathogenesis of inflammation, pain and fever.
Caffeine improves brain circulation and enhances analgesic action of paracetamol.
Indications: Citrapar is indicated in the following conditions:
- Moderate and light pain syndrome(headache, arthralgia, neuralgia, myalgia, dysmenorrhea)
- Fever associated with viral infection, tonsillitis and other infectious diseases
Contraindications and cautions: Citrapar is contraindicated in the following conditions:
- Stomach and duodenal ulcers
- Liver and kidney diseases
- Deficiency of G6PD
- Blood diseases
- Tendency to bleedings
- Glaucoma
- Bronchial asthma
- Pregnancy
Adverse effects: There are possible side-effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Citrapar will experience it or any other.
- Allergic diseases: skin rash, itching, hives
- Digestive system:stomach pain, nausea, liver dysfunction, dyspepsia, gastrointestinal bleedings
- Cardiovascular system: increased heart rate(tachycardia)
- Respiratory system: bronchospams
- Urinary system:kidney dysfunction

- Citrapar enhances the effects of the preparations, that lower blood coagulation and platelets aggregation.
- Citrapar enhances the effects of glucocorticoids, anti-diabetic drugs, methothrexate, NSAID's, narcotic analgesics
- Citrapar should not be used in conjunction with alcoholic beverages, barbiturates, rifampicin.
