Drug name: Dibicor
Active Ingredients:
- Taurin
Therapeutic actions: Taurin is a product of amino acids' metabolism: cysteine, cystamine and methionine. Taurin possesses the osmoregulatory and membrane-protective properties. Tarin normalizes the metabolism of calcium and potassium levels. Taurin also acts on GABA systems, regulating the release of the mediators. Taurin improves the metabolic processes in the heart, liver, kidney. In cardiovascular insufficiency taurin decreases the congestive manifestation in pulmonary circulation and systemic circulation. Dibicor decreases the high blood pressure in patients with hypertension. Dibicor also reduces the adverse effects associated with cardiac glycosides and calcium blockers overdose, increases working efficiency in physical activity.
Taurin can also decrease sugar blood levels in people with diabetes. It reduces the cholesterol and triglyceride levels. In prolonged use of Dibicor the improvement of the eye disorders were observed.
Indications: Dibicor is used to treat the following conditions:
- Cardiovascular insufficiency
- Cardiac glycosides overdose
- Diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2)
Contraindications and cautions: You should not use taurin in if you experience the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity or allergy to taurin

- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
- In children
