Active Ingredients:
Calendula officinalis
Therapeutic actions: Tincture of Calendula (Marigold) contains xanthophylls, carotenoids and other flavonoids that are powerful antioxidants . Flavonoids have been shown scientifically to be effective against inflammation, fever and to stimulate bile flow for aiding digestion and cleansing the liver.
Indications: Tincture of Calendula(marigold) is used to treat:
- Wound healing
- Anti-inflammatory
- Burns (minor, including sunburn)
- Conjunctivitis
- Eczema
- Gastritis
- Injuries (minor)
- Peptic ulcer
- Ulcerative colitis
- Sore Throat
- Earache
- Discomfort of menstrual cramps
- Headache
Contraindications and cautions:
- You should not use Tincture of Calendula if you have an allergy to any of its ingredients.
- Tincture of Calendula is not recommended for prolonged use .
- You should not use this medication in children under 12 years old.
- You should talk with your health care provider prior to taking tincture of Calendula if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You should know that this drug may make you drowsy. Do not drive a car or operate machinery until you know how this drug affects you.
- This product contains ethanol. It can be harmful for patients with hepatic disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, cerebral disease or brain injury, for pregnant women and children. The product can change or increase the effects of other drugs.
