Therapeutic actions: Ben-Gay, more recently spelled Bengay, is an analgesic heat rub used to relieve muscle and joint pain. Bengay ointment is recommended and must be applied before workouts to provide relaxation of tight muscles and to increases circulation to make exercising more comfortable and longer. Original Formula Bengay ointment can be applied and allowed to work before taking a shower to help reduce muscle ache and soreness after exercise.

Indications: Original Formula Bengay is indicated for the provision of temporary yet soothing relief from minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with the following:

simple backache
Arthritis
Strains
Bruises
Sprains

Contraindications and cautions: Original Formula Bengay ointment is directed for external use only. This medication must not be used with a heating pad. Original Formula Bengay should be kept away from reach of children to avoid accidental ingestion or poisoning. Original Formula Bengay must not be tied very tight with bandage. This medication must not be swallowed. Induce vomiting and call a physician if Original Formula Bengay is swallowed or get immediate medical help or urgently call a Poison Control Center. This medication must be kept away from eyes, mucous membranes, broken or irritated skin. Do not use and call a physician immediately if skin redness or irritation develops to which pain lasts for more than 10 days, or with arthritis-like conditions in children under twelve (12) years of age.
