Drug name: Lagosa
Active Ingredients:
- silymarin
Therapeutic actions: Lagosa contains the active ingredient Silymarin that belongs to hepatoprotective drugs. Silymarin acts on free radicals in the liver cells making them nontoxic compounds, interrupt the process of lipid peroxidation. In damaged liver cells Silymarin stimulates the production of structural and functional proteins and phospholipids, stabilizes cells' membranes, enhances cells regeneration.
Clinical effect is manifested in improvement of general state of the patients with liver diseases, laboratory liver tests are improved as well.
Indications: Lagosa is indicated in the following conditions:
- Toxic liver damage(alcoholism, intoxication by halogenic carbohydrates, drugs and heavy metals)
- Chronic hepatitis
- Liver cirrhosis(complex treatment)
- Dystrophy and fatty liver infiltration
Contraindications and cautions:
- Lagosa should not be used in known hypersensitivity to any of the medication active ingredient
- Do not use Lagosa in severe liver inflammatory diseases
- Talk with your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
