Active Ingredients: vincamine

Therapeutic actions: Oxybral contains the active ingridient Vincamine. It is an indole alkaloid found in the leaves of Vinca minor which improves cerebral blood circulation. It increases cerebral blood flow and utilization of oxygen by brain tissues, stabilizes the resistance of cerebral vascular circulation. It possesses hypotensive, spasmolitic and sedative action, increases mental fitness for work, improves memory.

Indications: Oxybral is used to treat:

• cerebrovascular insufficiency,
• condition after ischemic stroke,
• intracranial hypertension after coma,
• neurogenic tachycardia, arterial hypertension,
• impairment of memory,
• impairment of attention,
• vertigo (as a result of atherosclerosis of the vessels of brain, with diabetic angiopathy, after the disturbance of cerebral blood circulation or craniocerebral injury),
• vestibular disorders,
• the disturbance of hearing or sight caused by vascular diseases,
• migraine,
• the slowed development of intellectual abilities in children and adolescents.

Contraindications and cautions:
You should not use this medication if you have

• an allergy to vincamine ore vinpocetine
• brain's tumour
• ischemic heart disease
• arrhythmia
• hypotension

• you are pregnant
• you are breastfeeding
