Active Ingredients:
- Cinnarizin
- Piracetam
Therapeutic actions: Combined preparation that increases the cerebral blood flow and metabolism of the neural tissue. The drug also exerts vasodilatating, nootropic and antihypoxic effect in treatment of central-nervous system disease, prevents aggregation of activated thrombocytes, decreases the excitability of the vestibular system. Intensifies biosynthesis of DNA and phospholipids, glycolitic processes and utilization of glucose, increases the concentration of ATP, stimulates the integrative activity of the cerebrum, promotes memory consolidation. Eases the process of learning. The included active ingredient mutually potentiate each other and do not enhance toxicity levels. The therapeutic effect can be monitored within 1-6 hours.
Indications: The drug is indicate in treatment of acute and chronic cerebral vessel disease:
- Ischemic insult
- Recovery periods after hemorrhagic insults
- Encepahlopathy during portal hypertension
- Comatose and sub-comatose conditions after intoxications and cerebral trauma
- Implications after craniocerebral trauma
- Inflammatory and infectious disease of the central-nervous system
- Vestibular apparatus dysfunctions
- Menier's syndrome
- Asthenic syndrome of psychogenic origin
- Migraine prophylaxis
- To improve memory function
- Improve learning in children with retarded intellectual development
Contraindications and cautions:The drug should not be used in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
- Renal and liver disease
- Parkinson's disease
- Pregnancy
- Lactation period
- Children under 5 years of age
