Active Ingredients:

Therapeutic actions: Tamsulosin belongs to a class of drugs called alpha blockers. The drug works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, widening the veins and arteries thus making it easier to urirnate.
Indications: Treatment of urination dysfunctions caused by benign hyperplasia of the prostate gland.
Contraindications and cautions: The drug should not be used in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
- If you are taking other alpha blockers
- If you are having surgery especially eye surgery
- The drug should not be used in children
- Severe Renal insufficiency
- Hypotensive conditions
Not intended to be used in women but if prescribed by your doctor Tamsulosin belongs to Pregnancy category B consult your doctor before starting treatment if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
Adverse effects: There are possible side-effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Tamsol will experience it or any other. The side-effects include:
