Active Ingredients:
- Diosmin
Therapeutic actions: Diosmin belongs to a group of drugs called phlebotropic agents. The drug exerts vein-restorative, angio-protective and vein-protective effect. Increases the venous tone, decreases the venous capacitance and venous stasis. Increases capillary resistance, decreases their permeability increases microcirculation. Diosmin also possesses angio-protective effect. Increases vessel resistance, as well as systolic and diastolic pressure. Improves lymphatic drainage.
Indications: The drug is used for such conditions as:
- Lower limb chronic venous insufficiency characterized by:
- Heavy feet
- Pain in the lower limbs
- Trophic dysfunctions
- Lymphatic insufficiency
- Hemorrhoids in acute stages
- Increased permeability of capillaries
Contraindications and cautions: The drug should not be used in the following cases:
- Allergic reaction to any components of the preparation
- Hypertension
- Heart diseases that involve excess workload of the heart
Consult your doctor on possible pregnancy contradictions and cautions. During treatment you should avoid long periods of exposure to the sun light.
