Active Ingredients:
Clotrimazole
Therapeutic actions: The active ingredient of Candid V6 is clotrimazole, which is an antifungal medication used to treat vaginal infections caused by fungi(Candida) and yeasts. Clotrimazole works by killing the fungi by interfering with Candida cell membranes. Clotrimazole reduces the production of substances known as ergosterol, which is an essential component of Candida cell membranes. Insufficiency of ergosterol tends to appear the holes in the fungal cell membrane, making Bacteria nonviable.
Indications: Clotrimazole used to treat vaginal thrush(vaginal infection caused by Candida). Candida infection causes discharges and inflammation from the vagina.
Contraindications and cautions:
You should not use Candid-V6 (Clotrimazole) in the following conditions:
- allergy to Clotrimazole
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
- In pregnancy
You should consult your health care provider prior to taking Candid-V6:
- If you experience vaginal thrush for the first time.
- If you experienced more than two infections in the last six months.
- If you are under 14 or over 60 years of age.
Warning!
- Do not take this medication by mouth
- If your sexual partner also has symptoms of Candida infection he should get antifungal medications as well.
- Talk with your doctor if you do not experience any improvement within a week.
