Active Ingredients:
Miconazole nitrate
Therapeutic actions: Gynezol-7 contains the active ingredient miconazole nitrate that belongs to a group of medicines called antimycotic(antifungal). Miconazole nitrate possesses antifungal action. It is effective against dermatophitis, yeast fungus as well as some strains of Gram-positive bacteria. Miconazole works by interfering the synthesis of ergosterol, resulting in lysis of mycotic cells. Miconazole doesn't change PH and normal bacterial population in the vagina.
Indications: Gynezol-7 is used to treat vaginal and vulvovaginal infection caused by Candida albicans (thrush). Gynezol-7 is also used to treat superinfection related to Gram-positive bacteria.
Contraindications and cautions:
You should not use miconazole nitrate in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity or allergy to miconazole nitrate
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
- Kidney failure
- Liver diseases
- In children under 12 years old
You should use miconazole with caution in people with Diabetes or micro circulation disorders.
Warning!
It is important to treat both sexual partners at the same time or avoid sexual intercourse while taking Gynezol-7
Gynezol-7 is only for vaginal use.
