Drug name: Macmiror complex

Active Ingredients: Nifuratelum, nystatinum

Therapeutic actions: Nifuratel – is a synthetic means of nitrofuran origin that posesses anti trichomonal, antibacterial, antimycotic action. The broad-spectrum of action that is manifested by the drug allows its use during vaginitis of mixed origin. Nystatin is a fungicidal antibiotic from the group of poliens. Very effective against Candidosis. Effectiveness and low toxicity allows to use the preparation in a wide variety of illnesses. The drug does not affect normal physiological flora thus lowering the possibility of secondary disbacteriosis.

Indications: The drug is indicated for treatment of vaginal infections that are started by: bacteria, Trichomonas vaginalis, fungi called Candida albicans and chlamidia.

Contraindications and cautions: The drug is contradicted to people having a hypersensitive reaction to any components of the preparation. Macmiror complex should not be used in treatment of viral vaginitis. The treatment should include both sexual partners due to possible recurrence of the illness if that is not performed. During treatment sexual intercourses should be seized. The use of the preparation can only be allowed in the first trimester of pregnancy and only under strict supervision of your doctor. Do not use the drug during lactation.
