Tergynan
Drug name: Tergynan
Active Ingredients:
- Neomycin,
- Nystatin,
- Prednisolone,
- Ternidazole
Indications: Tergynan is used for treatment of:
- Bacterial vaginitis
- Vaginitis caused by Candida albicans
- Mixed vaginitis
- Prophylaxis of vaginitis before gynecological surgery, delivery, abortion
- Before and after insertion of intra womb contraceptives
- Treatment of womb cervix
- Before different intra womb examination procedures.
Contraindications and cautions: The preparation should not be used:
- If you are hypersensitive to any components of Tergynan
- If you have a viral infections
- The treatment should involve both partners due to possible risk of recurrence.
Adverse effects: There are possible side-effects associated with this that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Tergynan will experience it or any other. The may cause allregic reactions that manifest in:
- Burning
- Itching
- Swelling
- Rash
Other side-effects include:
- Rarely a burning feeling in the beginning of therapeutically treatment.
- Local irritation
